Yusuke Shimazaki

Yusuke Shimazaki is General Manager of the SAF & Renewable Diesel (ATJ) Department in the Carbon Solutions Business Division at Mitsui & Co., where he leads efforts to develop and scale sustainable fuel projects supporting the global energy transition.
Since joining Mitsui in 2008, he has built broad international experience across upstream oil and gas, business development, and low-carbon energy solutions. His career has included overseas assignments in Dubai and Milan, as well as leadership roles supporting major gas projects, including the Arctic LNG2 and Sakhalin2 LNG development, and advancing Mitsui’s carbon solutions portfolio.
Shimazaki holds a Master of Engineering in Architectural Environmental Engineering from Keio University.
